Blackwater River

These are some pictures taken of the
Blackwater river a tributary of the Moyola on Thursday24th May
We were convinced there was pollution coming down this
river, as you will see from the pictures it is very dirty.
Dr Richard Mc Faul water quality inspector from N I E A
visited the site on Thursday and assured us that this is iron oxide coming up
from the bed of the river at this time of year.
We would be interested to hear your views on this.
Could anyone who is crossing over these streams please
keep an eye out for pollution, In low water it is very dangerous and we
could get a fish kill very easily.
