Speedy is New Chairman

Sean Henry has been unanimously voted in as Chairman of Moyola Angling Association.

At last nights AGM Philip Maguire stood down from the top position after four very successful years at the helm, Handing over the reigns to Sean [Speedy] who has been a member of the club for over thirty years.

Outgoing Chairman Philip said, I would like to thank the committee for the last four years work, The Moyola Angling Association has a fantastic hard working committee who all have one thing in common,The protection of angling and conservation along the moyola river.
No one person believes he/she is better than the next.I hope the committee work as hard for the new Chairman as they did for me.
Philip also thanked Jack Chapman who was membership officer for the last four years and has stood down from this position.
Outgoing secretary Carrie Loane was also thanked for all her hard work in her time as secretary.

Treasurer Robert Hueston gave a detailed report on the finance of the club.

Competition Secretary Tommy McGrath reported on a good year for Competitions with £1150 raised for a few charities.
Mandatory catch & release has been unanimously passed for all Salmon caught in the 2013 season.
All Dollaghan caught in the month of October must be returned alive to the river.

Sean  Henry closed the AGM by thanking the outgoing Chairman Philip Maguire for his dedicated service over the last four years.
