Charity competition

The Moyola Angling Association held there annual Charity Competition on Saturday.
The competition report for the Moyola Charity Cup. In 1st place was Brian Bigmore with a good bag of Trout and a wee Dollaghan at 1lb 1oz, in 2nd place was Paul Fulton, and in 3rd place was Barry Diamond. Winner of the Francis McAuley Memorial Cup was Eimear McClenaghan,Well done to Eimear on winning her first competition on the Moyola. Ruth Arrell is still 2 points ahead in the league table and with only 3 competition to go she is looking good at this time, Tommy Mcgrath is on 69  points, Philip Maguire is on 62 points, Brian Bigmore moves up to 58 points after his win today, and Barry Diamond is on 54 points, Joseph Speirs is on 40 points in the junior league table but Eimear McClenaghan is on his heels with 34 points after todays win. A big thanks the Chippy in Castledawson for providing the food for our B.B.Q, and to Costcutters Stores in Newbridge, Vivo in Castledawson for providing the soft drinks. Also to Johnathon Hurl, Stanley Aspinall, Joey & Peter ONeill, Robert Hueston, Tommy Mcgrath, and to Barry Diamond for donating prizes for our raffle.A total of £355.00 was raised for Cancer Research N.I.  and Down's Syndrome Association.
