Salmon in the classroom

Saturday, February 19, 2022
The Salmon in the Classroom project has enjoyed visits to Kilross Primary School, Tobermore and St Mary's Primary School in Draperstown.
Once again, Mark Patterson was on hand to give pupils and teachers and entertaining and educational talk on the life cycle of the North Atlantic Salmon before setting up a hatching station in each school complete with hundreds of bright orange salmon eggs.
Over the coming weeks the pupils will be keeping a close eye on their development and will meet up in five weeks to release the fry close to Moneyneena Community Centre.
Next month everyone will travel with us to the Salmon Station in Bushmills to learn even more about these very important fish.
These salmon eggs came from the Moyola hatchery and with the help of Mervin Finley and Michael Brunton they were delivered to these three local schools. If you want to buy best UK breitling navitimer replica wisit ReplicaMades.is/breitling.html
