River Access Update

Wednesday, September 14, 2022
This is the busiest time of year for members of the Moyola Angling Association.
With every passing flood we head to our favourite pools, whether its "up the river" or "down the river" for a chance to catch a Dollaghan or Salmon.

However this is also a very busy time for farmers whose fields the Moyola runs along side.
Its time to cut the barley and soon will come the potato harvest.

The club relies heavily on the good will of all farmers and land owners who give us free passage across their land, and in a lot of cases allow us to park our vehicles on their property.

So can i ask every member who takes advantage of this good will to please ensure that they take every care not to damage crops.

Please walk around the perimeter of barley and potato fields and use stiles provided.
If you know an area which needs a stile, let a committee member know.
We will try to erect one or indeed supply the materials for you to erect one.

Lets all do what we can to keep this great wee club around for many years to come..
