Salmon in the Classroom.
Sperrin Gateway Landscape Partnership and Mark Patterson have set up mini hatcheries in five schools this year with eggs from the moyola hatchery.
The five schools are Kilronnan special school Magherafelt,Churchtown primary school, St Marys primary school Draperstown, Knocknagin primarm school Desertmartin and Desertmartin primary school.
The dates for releasing these fry back into the river are as follows.
Monday 22nd February 9.30am St Marys PS Seven Arches on the Douglas.
Monday 22nd February 1.30pm Desertmartin and Knocknagin Grange water Desertmartin.
Wednesday 24th February 10am Kilronan school Seven Arches on the Douglas river.

Any anglers or helpers who are available on these dates could you please turn up at the above venues to help these children release the fry into the river.
