The Spectrum Cup and the Martin O'Neill Memorial Cup were fished last weekend in Fermanagh Lakes. This turned out to be another weekend. Seamie D, Wee Stanley and Brian Bigmore provided the entertainment. Mervyn Finlay managed to weigh in a fish this time! Speedy surprised everyone with a third place in the heaviest fish competition on one of his own flies...alledgely!!! Brian Bigmore and Robert Paul showed showed off some very fine backstroke technique. Willie Darragh still needs a boat with a toilet. Patsy Harkin and Michael Brunton are looking for a hamock each. John McCombs had a room all to himself....we wonder why??? The two professionals won the pairs competiton. The three juniors did very well on the day with John McKay out doing his father yet again. A big thanks goes out to Maura, Bernie and Philip for cooking the BBQ on the Sunday and for all the wee drops of tae throughout the weekend. Willie Darragh has lost some ground in the points table - currently on 85 points with Seamie D creeping up on him with 82 and in third place Tommy McGrath with 72 points. P.S I think that wee Johnny Hurl had a good weekend to......

i have just been speaking to Gregory Stewart who is the fly tipping enforcement officer for magherafelt council.
he has been helpful to me on a different dumping issue at the seven arches.
this sort behaviour cannot be tolerated any more.
if anyone witnesses fly tipping/dumping can they please gather as much evidance as possible, i.e photos, video or even an eye witness account is enough.
Gregory's number is 07712836580
